About Me

Hi! I'm Diane, and I'm glad you are here! I grew up in Rexburg, ID and now reside in sunny St. George, UT with my husband and four children. Music has been part of my life since I was very young. I have played the piano for over 30 years, with 12 years of private lessons. I performed in many recitals and festivals and a few competitions. I accompanied the St. George Children's Choir from 2021-2023. I taught private piano lessons for 6 1/2 years before certifying to teach Presto in 2018. The more I teach the program, the more I love it! It truly gives children a solid and well-rounded music education and sets them up for success in any future musical endeavors.  

I certified to teach Sound Beginnings in 2020, and it is an absolute joy to teach little ones!  I love introducing music to babies and toddlers, but am especially grateful for the chance to facilitate bonding between them and their caregivers. 

Aside from teaching, I spend much of my time homeschooling my two youngest children, teaching co-op classes, and attending activities my children are involved in. I also enjoy hiking and being outside, exercising, reading, baking/cooking, playing games, puzzles, and spending time with family and friends. I'm looking forward to meeting you!
